The Cactus Classic consists of 20 matches total:

• Five 5-shot 100yd Light Varmint Matches
• Five 5-shot 100yd Heavy Varmint Matches
• Five 5-shot 200yd Light Varmint Matches
• Five 5-shot 200yd Heavy Varmint Matches

These matches will be combined into a Light Varmint Grand Aggregate, Heavy Varmint Grand Aggregate and a 2-Gun Grand Aggregate.

We will be holding a free banquet dinner at the Indoor Air Rifle Range (date tbd). During this banquet, we will be giving away prizes that were donated by our sponsors.

We highly encourage shooters that would like extra practice to attend the 2020 LV-HV Arizona State Championship.

Practice days for the Cactus Classic are March 9 – March 13, 2020.

There will be no practice allowed before or after the matches on Saturday and Sunday unless specifically authorized by the Match Director and Range Officer.

Practice Day 1: Monday, March 9, 2020

• Practice begins at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.
• Practice is $6 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.
• You can register for the match anytime during the day. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.
• FREE water will be provided.

Practice Day 2: Tuesday, March 10, 2020

• Practice begins at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.
• Practice is $6 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.
• You can register for the match anytime during the day. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.
• FREE water will be provided.

Practice Day 3: Wednesday, March 11, 2020

• Practice begins at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.
• Practice is $6 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.
• You can register for the match anytime during the day. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.
• FREE water will be provided.

Practice Day 4: Thursday, March 12, 2020

• Practice begins at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.
• Practice is $6 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.
• You can register for the match anytime during the day. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.
• FREE water will be provided.

Practice Day 5: Friday, March 13, 2020

• Practice begins at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm.
• Practice is $6 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.
• You can register for the match anytime during the day. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.
• FREE water will be provided.
• Target frames will be placed after practice ends at 4:00pm so that shooters can set up their wind flags.

Day 1: Saturday, March 14, 2020

• The first match begins at 8:00am.
• All matches shot at the bench you were given at sign up.
• All of Saturday’s matches will be held at 100 yards.
• FREE drinks will be provided in front of the stat office.
• All benches rotate at the end of the day 30 benches to your right. For example, if you were assigned bench 15 for Saturday you will be shooting on bench 45 on Sunday.
• At 6:00pm we will be holding a free banquet dinner in the Indoor Air Rifle Range.

Day 2: Sunday, March 15, 2020

• The first match begins at 8:00am.
• All Benches Rotate. All of today’s matches will be shot 30 benches to the right of where you shot yesterday.
• All of Sunday’s matches will be held at 200 yards.
• FREE drinks will be provided in front of the stat office.
• Awards ceremony takes place after all scores are finalized and challenge period has ended.
