SUMMARY:2023 Walt Berger Memorial Match
DESCRIPTION:This Championship consists of 30 matches total: \n\nFive 5-shot 100yd Unlimited Matches\nFive 5-shot 100yd Light Varmint Matches\nFive 5-shot 100yd Heavy Varmint Matches\nFive 5-shot 200yd Unlimited Matches\nFive 5-shot 200yd Light Varmint Matches\nFive 5-shot 200yd Heavy Varmint Matches\n\nThis match will be an NBRSA Short Range Group 3-Gun Match (Light Varmint\, Heavy Varmint and Unlimited). The match will consist of two parts. There will be awards for the individual portions\, as well as awards for a 2-man team event. The team match partners will be decided by drawing names out of a hat.\nThe range will be divided. Half the range will shoot 100 yds in the morning\, while the other half shoots 200 yards. After lunch\, the shooters will swap benches with their team member and shoot the other yard line.  \nThese aggregates will be combined with the 2022 SP-Unl5 Arizona State Championships‘ Aggregates to create a 3-Gun Grand Aggregate and a 4-Gun Grand Aggregate. \nPractice days are February 1 – February 2\, 2023. \n\nPractice is $8 per day. You must sign in before you begin shooting.\nYou can register for the match anytime during the practice days. If you register before practice you will be assigned a bench number and you can practice on the actual bench that you will be shooting on during the match.\nPractice begins on Wednesday morning after sun-up and ends at 5pm.\nPractice begins on Thursday morning after sun-up and ends at 4pm.\nOn Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\, there will be no practice shooting available before or after the matches unless authorized by the match director.\n\nDay 1: Friday\, February 3\, 2023 \n\nThe first match begins at 9:00am.\n\nDay 2: Saturday\, February 4\, 2023 \n\nThe first match begins at 9:00am.\n\nDay 3: Sunday\, February 5\, 2023 \n\nThe first match begins at 8:00am.\nAwards ceremony takes place after all scores are finalized and challenge period has ended.\n\n
